If you are trying to add a new patient and receive the message below. You want to ensure you follow the steps to avoid creating duplicate patient records.
Click on "Load Patient" to review the details of each patient.
You will then get a window with "Existing Patient" and "New Patient". You will notice that none have been selected
If your existing patient does NOT match the new patient details you are entering, at the bottom click On "Create New Patient" and your new patient will be created.
If your existing patient and the new patient DO match and you want to merge with the new data you have entered, at the top select the "New Patient"
And then at the bottom click on "Update Existing Patient". This will merge both patient records and override the patient information that was previously.
